Additional Federal and State Incentives
Don’t stop with just this rebate, you are likely eligible for additional rebates and tax credits. A federal tax credit, the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit, is available throughout the U.S. through the end of 2020. This credit covers 30% (up to $1000) of the cost of installing Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (ESVE). Furthermore, Delmarva Power customers living in Maryland may be eligible for the Maryland Energy Association’s (MEA) Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Rebate Program. The MEA ESVE provides 40% off of the costs (up to $700) of purchasing and installing a Level 2 charger in Maryland. These credits and rebates can be combined, potentially saving customers eligible for all three up to $2000.
40% MEA rebate + 30% federal tax credit + $300 Delmarva rebate (up to a total of $2000 off).
